Meet our Leadership Team

Char has an Associate Degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor Degree in Health Administration as well as a PHR certification, Personal Care Home Administrator license and Nursing Home Administrator license. She has more than 30 years of healthcare experience in Human Resources, Recruitment/Retention, Culture Building/Change Management, Marketing, Public Relations and Administration. Char resides in St. Marys with her husband Eugene. They have two children, Josh and Ashley and a granddaughter, Ruth.
Charlotte Floravit, NHA, PCHA, PHR
Chief Executive Officer

Marie received her Nursing Degree from Lock Haven University and her Bachelors Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She is Long Term Care Director of Nursing Certified and currently sits on the PADONA board as Vice-President for Area I. Marie has over 25 years of long term care experience and 12 years of experience as Director of Nursing. Marie resides in Ridgway with her husband Derrick. Between them, they have three grown children, Noelle, Haleigh, and Kaitlyn. She enjoys camping, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and their cats.

Director of Nursing

Stoeffaunnie received her nursing degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. Upon returning to her nursing career, after taking a break to raise her daughters, she ventured into long term care, and can’t see herself in any other nursing setting. She resides in Smethport with her significant other, Joe, and daughters, Emma and Lorelai, four cats, a turtle, and the best beagle, Butterball. She has been a youth cheer coach for 10 years and served in various roles on the Board of Directors for local Miss New York/Miss America pageants. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her family, shop, read, and travel.

Assistant Director of Nursing

Lindsey received her Bachelor Degree in Accounting and Finance and her Master of Business Administration from Saint Francis University. She has multiple years of experience in healthcare, previously working for Community Nurses. Outside of work, Lindsey serves as the President of the Cameron County SPCA and CCHS Quarterback Club, and the Bandfront Advisor at the Cameron County School District. She enjoys reading, doing crafts, and golfing. Lindsey resides in Emporium with her husband Ryan and their cat Theodore.
Lindsey Neyman
Director of Finance

Dawn has been an employee of The Lutheran Home at Kane since 2000. She has an extensive background in healthcare with various roles making her an asset to the facility. Dawn not only has experience in Human Resources, but also scheduling, payroll, collective bargaining, and medical records. Dawn resides in Kane with her husband Jerry and is the mother of three children - Tim, Michelle, and Sam.
Dawn Bigley
Director of Human Resources

Missy received her Bachelors Degree in Computer Application and Information Systems from Clarion University. She has numerous years of experience in the healthcare field, has implemented several large computer software programs, and has experience in project management, troubleshooting, security, safeguards and much more. Missy, a native of Kane, resides in Mt. Jewett with her husband, Jeff. Missy and Jeff have two grown children, Austin and Ashley, and they enjoy spending family time together.
Missy Swanson
Director of Information Technology

Scott received his degree in Recreation from Bluefield State College in West Virginia. He received his state Millwright Certificate and HVAC technician certification along with numerous other state certifications. He has more than 30 years of maintenance experience. He currently serves at the volunteer fire chief in Ridgway. Scott resides in Ridgway with his wife, Eva, their two sons, Chase and Orin and their hunting dog, Moses. Scott also has two adult sons Zachary and Elliot. Scott enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time.
Scott Pontious
Director of Maintenance

Linda began her career at the Lutheran Home in 1992. She has served in many roles during her time at the home. Some of her current responsibilities include overseeing Housekeeping, Laundry, Floor Care, Transportation, Purchasing and the Safety Committee. Linda is from Titusville, PA and has been married to her husband, Allen for 29 years. They currently reside in Kane. Linda has two children Jacqueline and Michael. She also has a dog named Rocky.
Linda Detsch
Director of Environmental Services/Safety Office

Kim has been with the Lutheran Home at Kane for seven years. Among her responsibilities are admissions, discharges, transfers, addressing resident needs, MDS 3.0 assessment, care planning, and Medical Assistance applications. Kim has a Masters’ Degree in Psychology and prior experience working in mental health and intellectual disabilities with children and adolescents.
Kim Robbins, M.S.
Director of Social Services

Brandi is the mother of three children Jadyn, Rylee, and Tyson. She enjoys going camping, hunting, and fishing as a family. Brandi has 20 plus years of experience in healthcare - mainly working as a Certified Nursing Assistant in various nursing homes. Brandi made the move from Nursing to Activities and then went on to complete her Activity Professional Certification through NCCAP. Brandi looks forward to bringing new ideas to The Lutheran Home and always welcomes ideas from everyone.

Pastor Pfleiger celebrates 50 years of ordained ministry. He has served a variety of parishes, did a residency at Hershey Medical Center in order to become a Board Certified Chaplain, and has served in that capacity here at The Lutheran Home for over 20 years. He has done Hospice Care with Community Nurses and is the long- term interim Pastor at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Kane. Pastor Pfleiger is married to Jane and they have two children, David & Diana, and a number of grand-animals.

Director of Pastoral Care

Sally received her nursing degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. She began working at the Lutheran Home while she was still in high school. Sally has served in several different roles during her career at the Lutheran Home; Nursing Supervisor, Care Coordinator and her current role as MDS Coordinator. Her duties entail completing Medicare and Medicaid required assessments according to regulations for the purpose of care planning and reimbursement. Sally resides in Kane with her husband, Dan and their children Daniel, Katelyn, Daria, Maya and Alec.
Sally Reigel, RN
RNAC

Karen received her nursing degree from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. She has experience in multiple areas of nursing including Emergency, Acute Care, Home Health, Administration, and currently is practicint Long Term Care. She is passionate in her career advocating for patients/residents and their families. She lives in St. Marys with her daughter and fiancé. She enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.
Karen Squires, RN
Quality/Wound Nurse

Michele fulfilled her goal of becoming a nurse in 2004. In 2005, Michele began working at RCC and has been there ever since. Michele has held the titles of LPN Supervisor, Resident Services Manager and most recently obtained her Personal Care Home Administrator Certification in 2017. She is a huge advocate for our residents and staff alike. Michele was born and raised in Kane and has 3 children at home - Ryan, Ashlyn and Mason. She enjoys activities related to being outdoors, family time and any sports her children participate in.
